She has a strong background in data-driven research and human rights reporting, gained through her work as a Research Specialist at the University of Illinois at Chicago and her extensive freelance journalism.
Lolita holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She has co-authored training manuals for federally funded research projects and played a key role in overseeing participant recruitment and data management for large-scale studies.
As a Bosnian genocide survivor, Lolita brings a deeply personal and empathetic approach to her journalism, using her platform to shed light on human rights violations, marginalized communities, and global injustices.
